These Distex IGNC21U cold water filtration systems have various purposes -- and, they come in two series: the NoCHlor series, which reduces scale and sediment, and the IG series, which reduces chlorine, taste, odour, and sediment. If you're going to be spending thousands of dollars on restaurant equipment, it's good to invest in a filter to save you from the repair costs that come with removing extensive mineral build-up.
Furthermore, these s are designed to aid ice machines in performing at their best by leaving the free chlorine in the water. As a result, microbiological growth within the ice machine is prevented.
Within Distex's cold water filtration system there are two series: the NoChlor and the IG. NoChlor specializes in reducing scale and sediment build-up, whereas IG specializes in reducing chlorine, taste, odour, and sediment. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
